Day 1 – Modena

Modena is synonymous with Pavarotti, fine cars and good food. The old town with its Duomo, Piazza Grande and the Torre Ghirlandina has been acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A city that will fascinate you with its architectural gems and state-of-the-art cars – Ferrari and Maserati – but also a place to indulge in the pleasures of the table with a great variety of traditional dishes

Day 2 – Ferrari, Food & Wine

Discover the fascinating Ferrari world, the Casa Museo L. Pavarotti, the town of Modena and the many outstanding products of the land of engines and taste. Visit the Museo Ferrari in Maranello and the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena, the Casa Museo L. Pavarotti and have guided tours with tastings of the traditional food products like the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, the Lambrusco wine or Prosciutto. This is a unique experience for gourmets and Ferrari lovers. Car enthusiasts can test a F1 simulator in the Ferrari Museum or they can test drive a Ferrari on normal roads in Maranello

Day 3 – Parma

You will be pleasantly surprised by Parma, this elegant town welcomes its guests with the sophisticated atmosphere of a small capital city. Its old town is filled with large green spaces and stunning works of art dating back to different centuries. An interesting note: the violet – the flower symbol of the town, of which Duchess Marie Louise of Austria was so fond – is now a popular woman’s fragrance as well as a delicious frosted candy, two gift items that would make perfect souvenirs from Parma. Created and launched in 1870 by Lodovico Borsari – who gave his name to a well-known perfume factory – the Violetta di Parma has grown into an icon in fashion, literature and in the imagery of the town. The presence of music in the history of the town has been widely recognized: thanks to the spirit of initiative and the passion of its citizens, Parma has earned itself a reputation as a capital of music

Day 4 – The Verdi Places

Before leaving the cradle of music, pay tribute to one of its major representatives: Giuseppe Verdi, composer of such masterpieces as Nabucco, Macbeth, Rigoletto, Il Trovatore, La Traviata, Aida and Othello. He died in Milan but he always had strong bonds with his native town. People loved him so much that in the days before his death the streets outside the Grand Hotel et de Milan, where he was staying at the time, were strewn with straw so that the sound of horses and carriages would not disturb his rest. Visit some of the places inextricably linked with Verdi’s life and the Rocca di Fontanellato, which preserves one of the masterpieces of Italian mannerism, a small room frescoed by Parmigianino in 1524 with the legend of Diana and Acteon. The Rocca houses the only darkroom open for a visit in Italy

Day 5 – Parmesan Cheese

Discovering the making of the King of Cheese is an experience that appeals to everyone. The Parmigiano Reggiano dairy producers are waiting to take you on a path that will allow you to see the work of the master cheese makers engaged in ancient gestures of milk processing, a special way to enter the culture of this territory and discover one of the most important products of Italy and famous in the entire world
